Vote on new plan expected this week.
An end to California's budget woes may be within sight.
State lawmakers and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger reached a deal on a new budget late Friday evening.
Two big issues, pension reform and business tax breaks, still need to be addressed, but lawmakers say they're confident agreements can be hashed out before a vote later in the week.
The long-delayed budget comes months after the July 1st start of the fiscal year.
