A man is facing burglary charges after police say he tried to rob a home with two other men in Edcouch over the weekend.

Jonathon Palomino was charged with burglary of a habitation and criminal burglary of a habitation on Monday. Palomino and two other men attempted to rob a house on Friday night, but a 16 year-old boy living in the home, shot at Palomino and a second suspect. The sheriffs' department is still searching for a third suspect and are expecting to issue an arrest warrant. Palomino and the second suspect are still in the hospital recovering from their injuries and the 16 year-old boy will not be charged in the shooting.
