These men are now behind bars and charged for breaking into this home on Fresno Street in Brownsville Tuesday morning.

When police arrived at the abandoned home, officers heard several voices coming from the inside. There, they found, 44-year-old, Roberto Trevino, 39-year-old, John Battles and 37-year-old, Charles Battles.

The home which had a condemnation sign on the front door had been vacated for quite some time but still had several personal belongings.

Police are thankful to the alert neighbor who reported this crime. Often times, police say they don't catch the criminals committing the crime. They tend to get away but not this time.

That’s why authorities continue to push their crime stopper lines. Call and report any type of criminal activity. You don't have state your name and sometimes you can be eligible for a reward if your tip leads to an arrest.

The three men were charged with Burglary of Habitation and each were given a $5,000 bond.
