Bulletin Warns of Drug Cartel Threats on Border Agents
A Texas Congressman says Mexican drug cartel members have threatened to kill U.S. agents working on the U.S. side of the border.
Congressman Michael McCaul said a law enforcement bulletin issued this month warned that Mexican cartels were overheard plotting to kill Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents as well as Texas Rangers stationed along the border. The bulletin also said cartel members planned to use AK-47 assault rifles to shoot the agents and Rangers from across the border. The Congressman did not identify which cartels or what agency issued the bulletin.
