Brownsville's resacas water levels lowered for storms

BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — The threat of tropical storm rains has Brownsville's water and electrical crews preparing.
Crews are lowering resaca levels so water can drain better. Other crews are setting up backup generators for pumps and stocking up trucks.
The Brownsville public utilities call center and emergency operations center are now ready in can they are called into service.
