Brownsville Shelter up during the cold

With the rain and cold temperatures sweeping into the valley, the Brownsville shelter is expecting a crowd tonight.

with temperatures expected to dip in the 40's tonight and this weekend the ozanam center is preparing to keep people warm.

"We can house up to 200 individuals, and we do provide 3 meals, shower, and clothing, its all free of charge."

The center says they prefer you bring an identification, but if that is not possible they will still allow you to stay.

"The shelther is open 24 hours a day and they can come anytime during the day and night and we will take them in and provide the shelter for them."

The center is located at 656 North Minnestoa Ave, near Houston road.
