Brownsville police have a warning for any drunk drivers before the Labor Day holiday,  they will be out in full force making sure those drivers are apprehended if they are drinking and driving.

Starting on Friday and continuing until September 5th, police officers will be working overtime, on the lookout for drivers under the influence as part of the "Drink, Drive and go to Jail." Officers say if you're going to drink make sure you have a designated driver or get a cab.

Brownsville police are useless, it has been over one year and they still have not prosecuted the driver who hit me while I was at at stop light. The driver was going over 60mph. The person driving was drunk and under the influence of cocaine. It's good they might actually work one week out of the year. Good Job Brownsville PD.
