The police shot and killed 15 year-old on January 4th after he refused to put down a weapon he had brought to Cummings Middle School. State law requires a death report to be sent to the Attorney General within thirty days of the death of someone in custody. A preliminary autopsy report indicated that Gonzalez had two gunshot wounds to his body, one to the chest and the other to his abdomen.
