Brownsville police arrest suspect in Southmost murder case
BROWNSVILLE, TX (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — The man accused of Brownsville's first murder of the year has been arraigned.
Victor Hugo Sefores went before a judge over the weekend, his bond, set at $2 million dollars.
He was arrested last week after linking himself to the murder of 30 year-old Juan Barrientos. The victim was found dead in his van off of Clavel Street in the Southmost area back in mid-January.
