Starting Friday, March 28th the Brownsville PD will implement a new "No Refusal Policy" when it comes to driving while intoxicated.

This means a suspected drunk driver who refuses to have their blood alcohol level tested through a breath test, could be forced to have a warrant issued blood draw.

On Friday, NewsCenter 23 will speak with Brownsville Police Chief Orlando Rodriguez on the department's decision behind the new initiative and what it involves.
