Brownsville Mayour Returns from Arizona Conference

Brownsville Mayor Pat Ahumada says he has some good news for the residents of the city after taking several trips to Arizona and Washington.

The mayor went to Tucson, Arizona to speak about border issues with other officials at the U.S. Conference of Mayors back on January 20th. At the meeting, Mayor Ahumada states he spoke with the commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection Alan Bersin and both agreed to work closely on the border issues. The mayor will also meet with Michael Freeman, Director of the Port of Brownsville Entries, to work on issues that affect Brownsville.
