Brownsville Accident Sends Children To the Hospital

Several children were wearing neck braces and had to be taken to the hospital on stretchers.
Witnesses we spoke to say two cars rolled over on the 1200 block of International around 3pm.
The Brownsville Fire Department says that a total of 6 people were sent to the hospital and that includes children ages 8 to 17 after a red car and yellow SUV got in an accident.

"I got to see the red car flip over it was just crazy."
"If i wouldn't have hit my breaks it probably would have landed over us it was to close to us."

Janie Cedra who has two children of her own witnesses the crash.
She says a 13 year old in the red car was one of the worst injured.

"He probably lost some of his fingers I am sure he did, he was badly injured, we tried to calm him down he thought he was going to die and lose his hand."

The fire department says some of the other victims have a possible fractured leg and hand.
Police are investigating and have not released how the accident happened or who is at fault.
