BPUB and Tenaska team up to build 800 megawatt power plant

BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS (NEWS CENTER 23) — In an effort to generate more power for the City of Brownsville the Brownsville Public Utility Board and Omaha based energy company Tenaska have teamed up to build a 800 megawatt natural gas fueled power plant near FM 511 and Old Alice road, Na'tassia Finley has more on what that means for Brownsville customers and the city as a whole.
