Boys and Girls Scouts Take Reins of City Government

For the 59th time, Boy and Girl Scouts took the reins of Brownsville's city government on Friday.

43 Boys and Girls Scouts, representing 17  different schools, held positions in city government, the school district and the Palo Alto Battlefield Park. Hanna High School student, Cesar Trevino, served as mayor and he was joined by Aurora Villarreal, Andrew Ayma, Andres Morales, Megan Galvan, Luis Trevino and Elisa Galvan who all served as city commissioners.
