Law enforcement agencies in Cameron County along with federal officials met for the second time to continue preparing and coordinating border security plans.
"We want to make sure we protect people in the United States and want to be prepared for anything that erupts over there."
"I think they have to get together and they have to put a stop to this because it's going to kill tourism in México. That's why we haven't crossed. That's why we stay away from it. We don't want to wind up in any violence."
The Cameron County Sheriff, Brownsville Police, Border Patrol, U.S. Customs, DPS and others attended today's meeting. They discussed each other's plans and came up with new ideas.
Once a plan is in place, Lucio says all agencies will hold training sessions to perfect that much wanted border security plan.
