Authorities recovered a body from the Rio Grande river on Wednesday morning.

It may be another case of an illegal border crossing, but officials are not sure at this point. An agent on patrol in the river spotted the body around 8:30am near the Fort Brown golf course. Brownsville police and fire units responded along with the Border Patrol and recovered the body of a man about half an hour later near the Gateway bridge.
