The Border Patrol Department honored some the brightest high school students who were enrolled in the Head of the Class program.

Ten students from around the Valley were honored on Wednesday for their hard work in the classroom and community involvement each received a plaque and a gift card. One student, Daniel Gonzalez stated, "I have been striving to do my best in my educational career because I don't want to suffer. I look forward to going to Pan American, I am here 'cause God placed me here and it's a blessing to be here."
