Friday, May 27, 2011 - 8:53am

Several undocumented immigrants had their lives saved by Border Patrol agents working in the Falfurrias area.

Border Patrol officials say someone called 911 claiming they were lost in the brush and had run out of food and water. Five people in the group were rescued including two adults that were taken to the hospital. In a separate incident on Wednesday, agents found a group of nine people in the brush. One person in that group couldn't keep up and fell so ill they were nearly unconscious. This year the RGV sector has rescued 67 illegal immigrants and 20 have been reported dead.
