Border Agents Seize Nearly 2,000 Pounds of Marijuana

U.S. Border Patrol agents seized more than 2,000 pounds of marijuana in just one day on Thursday.

Officials say they found more than 700 pounds of marijuana in Abram abandoned in a brushy area near the river. Agents also spotted two suspects trying to smuggle more than 400 pounds of marijuana just north of the river and in total, agents found more than $1.5 million dollars worth of the drug.
