Border Agents Seize Nealy $1.5 Million Dollars in Marijuana

Nearly $1.5 million dollars worth of marijuana was seized by Border Patrol agents in two separate incidents the last couple of days.

In the largest seizure, agents confiscated 1,100 pounds of marijuana and two vehicles. In the second incident, agents seized more than 700 pounds of marijuana on a trail near the Rio Grande river after coming in contact with several men loading a van with the bundles of the drug. The suspects were able to return into Mexico and the value of the marijuana is close to $600,000 dollars.
