More than $2.5 million dollars of drugs were seized in three separate and unrelated drug busts.

U.S. Customs seized the drugs last weekend at the Hidalgo, Pharr and Anzalduas international bridges with a total of 75 pounds of cocaine and 225 pounds of marijuana. The combined estimated street value of the drugs is near $2.6 million dollars and were found hidden inside separate vehicles.

U.S. Border Patrol agents seized more than a ton of marijuana in two separate seizures. In La Casita, agents found more than 2,000 pounds of marijuana in an abandoned van near the river. The drugs are valued at close to $1.7 million dollars. At a McAllen station, agents saw several individuals trying to carry bundles of marijuana across the border, but the suspects got away and the agents seized the drugs.
