Border Patrol agents seized almost 3,000 pounds of marijuana on Tuesday morning near Fronton along the Rio Grande river.

Agents say footprints led them to 100 bundles of marijuana and also discovered a truck along the river. The thousands of pounds of marijuana were valued at more than $2 million dollars.
