Border Agents Continue to Encounter Spikes on Chases
Border Patrol agents are still encountering the use of home made spikes, as they try to stop smuggling operations throughout the Valley.
Officials say that since Saturday, they've had four separate incidents involving spikes, immobilizing 13 Border Patrol units and two police cars. The most recent one happening south of Los Ebanos where spikes were thrown at agents. The agents were able to stop the car and seize 1,400 pounds of marijuana.
