Body Found In Harlingen

A body was found in Harlingen this evening just after five.
The scorching temperatures in the Valley couldv'e caused a man in Harlingen to die.
Police say, they found a man, lying dead in a parking lot,and the heat may be the killer.
Officers say, a 49-year old man was found dead behind an old restaurant, formerly known as "Vela's" on the 600 block of West Tyler Ave.
When cops arrived, they found the man unresponsive.
Emergency Medical Crews rushed in to try and save the man, but it
was unfortunately too late.
An autopsy has been ordered.
At this time, there were no signs of physical trauma.
Concerned residents tell News Center 23, if the man died of heat stroke, that really scares them.
"I think in the weather we have down here, it's quite possible that, that could happen to anybody, it's important to stay hydrated, and in places where you're not going to get over-heated."
The man's death is still under investigation.
Right now, police are not releasing the man's name until all family members are notified.
