Blood alcohol limit, double the legal limit, for driver in deadly Los Fresnos accident
CAMERON COUNTY, TX (KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — Police have released the results of the toxicology report on the woman they say is responsible for the fatal accident that killed five people in Los Fresnos last month.
The report shows Margaret Gil, 32, had a blood alcohol level read of 0.192, more than double the legal limit.
DPS says the two cars were traveling in opposite direction on Highway 100 when Gil's vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic, striking the victim's car.
Gil has been charged with intoxication manslaughter.
