Retail employees complain about sales creeping into Thanksgiving holiday.

Black Friday isn't just for Friday anymore.

A growing number of retailers are moving up their Friday sales to Thursday, Thanksgiving.

Not everyone is happy about it.

Many retail employees are upset with stores opening at midnight Friday, and in some cases even earlier.

Some have even launched petitions against the early sale hours.

"I think that's the way society is evolving, 24/7, and whether you're working on a holiday or not. There's executives that work on those days so it's just an evolution of the work environment," says San Diego State University marketing professor Miro Copic.

An environment that's about getting our holiday shopping dollars.

Whether it's at 10 p.m. Thanksgiving night or 3 a.m. on Black Friday, many shoppers will follow the deals no matter when they're offered.
