B.I.S.D. Superintendent Brett Springston Resigns

The Brownsville I.S.D. has a new superintendent after the school board accepted the resignation of Superintendent Brett Springston on Wednesday afternoon.

Mr. Springston held the superintendent position for the last year and half and board trustees thanked him for his service. The board then appointed Dr. Carl Montoya to serve as interim superintendent. Mr. Montoya has 35  years experience as an educator and has served as an administrator in New Mexico and Dallas. He has worked for the B.I.S.D. for four years after serving six years as superintendent at Aransas Pass.

We thank the board of trustees who are working with a limited budget.

All this mess is from Kat just remember during the next election to vote her out just like Gilberto Hinojosa, John Wood, and Pat Ahumada. She is destroying the school district just like all of her other jobs.
