Parent volunteers, who work inside the Brownsville I.S.D. campuses, are now better prepared to know what to do if a fire breaks out at their school. The parents attended a presentation by the Brownsville Fire Department, at the B.I.S.D. police headquarters, by Fire Inspector Cassandra Guerrero on how to use a fire extinguisher and other topics on fire prevention and reaction. The Fire Inspector stated, "In case of an emergency, if you haven't been exposed on what to do, you may panic because you don't know what to do. With this training, at least, they got a little bit of info to go back on."
