MCALLEN — Manuel Ochoa is 48 and up until a few months ago he was on his way to blindness, kidney failure and possible amputation. These are all extreme affects of diabetes for the last 20 years on Mr. Ochoa, but he had bariatric surgery which has put his diabetes in remission, Erin Murray tells us more about how the surgery could help others with diabetes live a normal life.
