At Hanna High School, hundreds of balloons were released as part of  World Down Syndrome Day on Monday.

The day promotes awareness and equal rights for people with special needs and 321 balloons were released to represent chromosome number 21 where individuals with down syndrome have three copies of chromosomes instead of two. For more information about down syndrome visit:
