A Brownsville bail bondsman has been convicted for his role in a scheme to solicit and accept bribes in exchange for official action.

Francisco "Pancho" Cisneros has pled guilty to aiding and abetting extortion after admitting to paying $2,000 dollars to a middle man to bribe former State District Court Judge Abel Limas to change the terms of a set cash bond. Limas admitted that he received $700 dollars to issue the order.
