Everyone has a different way of expressing themselves and if you're autistic, that can be quite difficult.
but there's a young man in edinburg who doesn't need any words to express himself.

Out of the thousands of students at Edinburg High school, Sebastian Nieto stands out.
Its not because he's autistic.
For the first 5 years of his life, Sebastian couldn't speak or communicate.
But years later, he found his voice.
Sebastian is inspired by movies but to everyone around him, he's the inspiration.

The number of people diagnosed with autism has increased significantly over the years and researcher's still have yet to find out what exactly causes this disorder.
In the meantime, Sebastian says he'll continue to paint his own path.

Sebastian's family, mom and brother are instrumental in his ability to adapt to his surroundings. They never set limits to his abilities, but always willing to let him grow.

Continued from Mari,

how to groom and dress himself. He is also very helpful around the house with chores etc. We are all so greatful that the Lord has brought this special person into our lives.

I am Sebastian's aunt. I live close to Corpus Christi. I am so very proud of him. Sebastian has a special gift of drawing, but he also has another special gift of caring about the people in his life. I also credit his mother who is also his classroom teacher, because she has taught him so much. Austitic children normally don't like to be hugged, but it is because of her that he is able to recieve a hug and give a hug. She has also taught him to do necessary things in life such as learning
