Authorities searching Watertown streets for second bombing suspect
WATERTOWN, MA (KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — Police are combing the streets of Watertown searching for a second suspect in the deadly Boston marathon bombing Monday.
He's identified as Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, police say his older brother, the other bombing suspect, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, was shot and killed early Friday.
Officers are going door to door, Amtrak, subways, schools and businesses are shut down as police hunt for the suspect. One police officer is dead, another was seriously wounded following the MIT campus car jacking and police chase that started the massive manhunt Thursday night.
The Tsarnaev brothers are accused of setting the bombs at the Boston marathon Monday that killed three people and injured more than 175 others.
