Australia: 12 year-old possibly taken by crocodile
Northern Territory, Australia — Human remains have been found, after a crocodile carried off a 12 year-old boy in a waterway in a remote section of the Australian outback over the weekend.
The body parts, discovered near the scene of the attack, have yet to be formally identified by DNA analysis.
Authorities were searching by ground, boat and air since Sunday's disappearance, but now the search mission is a recovery operation.
The boy was swimming with several friends at the time of the attack.
One of them, who is 15 years-old, was bitten but manage to escape and is going to be okay.
According to the Daily Mail, 13 people were killed by crocs in Australia in the last 12 years, six of them were children.
