Burn samples are on their way to a crime lab after fire investigators believe a Brownsville home was deliberately set on fire last week.

The Brownsville Fire Marshal reports a trained arson dog searched the home off of Rey Enrique and found a spot indicating flammable liquid. Samples were taken from the house and those results will be available in about six weeks.
