Search and rescue crews are working around the clock in the small town of West, Texas searching for possible survivors of a massive fertilizer plant explosion that destroyed several city blocks of a residential area.
Officials have said as many as 15 people may have died and more than 160 others were injured in the blast. The explosion erupted without warning causing mass devastation. Destroyed in the blast were as many as 75 homes. No word yet on what started the initial fire. The atf's national elite response team has been called in to investigate.

The Cameron County Emergency 9-1-1 District sponsored the "Dedication for Fallen Heroes Memorial" at the Cameron county courthouse.
Family and friends came to honor those first responders who've died in the line of duty.
Members of the Brownsville police and fire department and Cameron county sheriff's department were among those in attendance.
It's that time again, another beach clean-up, Saturday the Texas General Land Office will hold their annual spring Adopt-A-Beach Clean-up .
There are three locations here in Cameron county that volunteers can choose from. One meeting site is at Andie Bowie Park, one at Beach Access 3 in town...and at Boca Chica Beach. Sign up begins at 8:30a, with clean running from 9am-12pm.
