MCALLEN - People all across the Valley have joined together to help the families forced out of their homes from the devastating apartment fire.

It happened early Sunday morning at 1212 E. Dallas Avenue.

Over 100 people were affected by the fire, and while the public is helping, one of the things they can't give is time.

It's day three, the last day these fire victims can stay at the Knights Inn's Hotel, a temporary home set up by the Red Cross.

News Center 23 Reporter Erin Murray met with families today to see where they are going to go after they turn in their hotel keys.
