Anthony Trial Continues
Brother and former friends testify in trial Casey Anthony murder trial.
Wednesday was another drama filled day in the trial of Casey Anthony, accused of killing her daughter Caylee in 2008.
Anthony's brother Lee was on the witness stand.
The defense claimed in opening statements he once tried to molest Casey, but on Wednesday there were no questions about that from either side.
Lee was asked about trying to contact Casey to find out where her daughter, 2-year-old Caylee, was.
He described Casey's explanation for not letting the family know what was going on, saying "She told Detective Edwards 'because maybe I'm a spiteful bitch'".
The defense contends Casey's father George Anthony found little Caylee drowned in the pool, and with Casey, covered it up.
The defense asked lee about Casey's car with that now infamous awful smell.
One of the first officers on the scene testified he didn't smell anything.
As for what we may soon see in the trial, the defense asked to black out certain portions of jail house visitation videos the prosecution wants to use.
Judge Belvin Perry denied the request.
The jury may soon hear Casey on video, in her own words during those critical days, more than a month after little Caylee was last seen.
