Four teens are behind bars after robbing a cell phone store in Alton.

Alton police say the group robbed a Pocket cell phone store at gunpoint near the intersection of 5 Mile Line and Bryan road around 5pm Thursday. A clerk told police one of the teens flashed a gun and demanded money and cell phones. Police arrested two of the teens shortly after the robbery and those teens told officers the location of two other teens hiding in an attic at a nearby home.

Police negotiated with those two teens, hiding in the attic, for hours until they got them to come out from the attic. A judge charged three of the four teens with aggravated robbery and their bonds were set at $250,000 dollars each. The fourth teen is at the Darrel Hester Juvenile Detention Center.
