Alamo Murder Victim Identified by Police
ALAMO - Hidalgo county sheriff's department has identified the body of a man murdered in Alamo.
Investigators say 29 year-old Oscar Trevino was shot in the back of the head and his body dumped behind a home on Verbena street. Police say Trevino was a felon with a lengthy rap sheet and having been arrested on the state and federal level. Trevino's arrests all occurred outside of the Valley in cities like Houston, Austin and Corpus Christi. Investigators suspect that Trevino was a gang member by judging with the type of tattoos on his body.
