Airport Reopens After Bomb Threat
A car bomb threat at McAllen International Airport caused officials to close down Terminal Drive and short term parking lot early Friday morning.
Airport officials got a call that a possible car bomb was in the short term parking lot section. U.S. Custom and Homeland Security officials took the threat seriously and closed the street and parking lot section as bomb sniffing dogs checked vehicles for any suspicious materials. All flights remained on schedule on Friday and the airport is still open for business.
