Soon it may be a little easier to use your electronic devices on airplanes.

An FAA Advisory panel is currently analyzing whether or not it's time to allow some electronic devices to be used below 10 thousand feet.

The current rules require passengers to turn off all electronic devices below that level.

The types of devices that will likely get the green light are E-Readers and tablets.

cell phones are expected to remain off limits.
