Affluenza crash victim refuses settlement from parents of Ethan Couch

A young survivor of a drunken driving crash is seeking a trial to settle a civil lawsuit against the driver.

13 year-old Lucas McConnell and his family are refusing to accept a settlement from the parents of Ethan Couch.

Couch was driving drunk last year when he plowed into a group helping a stranded motorist.

Four people were killed others were injured, Couch, who was 16 at the time, was sentenced to probation and rehab after his lawyers argued he suffered from 'Affluenza', he was too rich and never given any limits.

McConnell and his family says they don't feel Couch has been held responsible, Lucas McConnell, 13-Year-Old Crash Victim, "I keep finding myself asking like why this happened, just - I've yet to see anything good come out of it."

At least five of the victims families have settled with Couch's parents.
