The 99 theater to portray real consequences of poor decisions made by teens
BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — The 99 production is currently setting up a walk through theater in front of the old Amigoland Mall.
Under the tent, scenes depicting the five leading causes of death in teenagers. The CDC reports about 99 young people die everyday in the U.S. in situations that could have been avoided.
The production is designed to portray real consequences of poor decisions with the first showing starting this Friday and running for the next four weekends.
The 99 was in Brownsville two years ago and organizers say nearly 17,000 people came out to see the production and they are hoping for a big crowd this year as well.
