Border Protection officers at the Hidalgo/Reynosa bridge have more than $800,000 dollars in cocaine from a recent bust.
Officers picked up the drugs after an X-ray scan on a Ford pickup truck found suspicious objects within the truck's dash and firewall areas. They collected 11 cocaine packages and found a man-made factory compartment near the right front tire wheel assembly.
The driver is a 32 year-old Mexican driver and now is behind bars facing federal drug charges.
