61 H1N1 Cases in Cameron County

The number of H1N1 flu cases increases statewide and Valley wide and according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, there are now 429 confirmed cases of the H1N1 flu virus in Texas.

In the Rio Grande Valley, the number of cases in Cameron county has increased. Previously, 48 cases were confirmed, but that number has gone up to 61. In Hidalgo county, the cases went from 14 to 30, but in Starr county the numbers remained the same and in Willacy county there have been no cases reported.
