San Juan, TX (NEWSCENTER 23) — Authorities confirm at least 56-illegal immigrants are in custody following a raid at a San Juan home off of the 5900 block of I Street.

 A traffic stop last night led investigators to the location,  initially San Juan police say the group in the car fled, but they were able to trace the vehicle to the home which was raided.

Police say a woman  responsible for running the illegal human smuggling operation was arrested and is now in police custody.

Authorities say the illegal immigrants came from Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala.
