4th Suspect in Burglary Ring Arrested

Police have arrested a fourth person they say is part of a burglary ring which they believe broke into at least 10 home's and businesses In the city of Brownsville. 18 year old Julio Rodriguez of Brownsville was arrested Thursday for being part of this burglary ring. Police say Christopher Ramirez, Luis Morales, a juvenile, and the man most recently arrested, Rodriguez are all part of the ring. On Tuesday police say the thieves broke into the Western Shamrock Finance store. Three of them caught in a getaway car at an apartment complex behind the store. police say they were also involved in a burglary at the christian dance center in addition to several other residences and businesses.
police total the amount of damage and items-taken at all of the businesses and homes the men hit at $5,000.
All four suspects have been transferred to the Cameron County Jail charged with burglary, among other charges.
