In a story you first saw on News Center 23 Brownsville Police are investigating their first homicide of the year.

Police say the shooting was all over money.30 year old Aaron Castillo was shot and killed last night near his home in Brownsville.

This is the scene last night outside the home of 245 garden street where Aaron Castillo lived. Police say Aaron Castillo was driving in his grey pick up truck when two men got in a confrontation with one of his family members that was in the passenger seat. This all happening a block away from Castillo's home.The argument was over some kind of money issue.

Police say Castillo and the family member then drove to their home with several cars following them. One of the vehicles chasing Castillo got into a collision with his vehicle.

Castillo's pick up stopped and that's when two men shot Castillo at least three times outside of his pick up.

Police believe the shooters were 27 Randall Bolivar and 32 year old Rolando Garza. Neighbors are saddened by death of aaron castillo and feel for his family.

Investigators were back on the scene in front of home on 245 garden street continuing their investigation. Police say that they believe more suspects are involved in this shooting.

The two gunmen are still on the loose. Police say that they were driving a newer model red Jeep Cherokee. If you have any information you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 546 TIPS.
