3 Arrested for Woman Found Dead In Refrigerator

Police say they have the men responsible for the murder of 35 year old Rose Marie Gonzalez. Police found her dead in a refrigerator inside her apartment this week.
21 year-old Israel Martinez,18 year old Jose Trevino, and 20 year old Marco Barrientos all charged for the murder of Rose Marie Gonzalez. Martinez and Barrientos were arrested at their home and Trevino arrested after questioning at the police station.
Gonzalez's body was found in refrigerator on Monday at her Bonita Park apartment. Through preliminary autopsy reports the cause of death was the victim was beating so badly in her head and chest that she should could not breathe.
The motive for the murder is still unknown. Harlingen police say all three of the suspects and the victim all knew each other.
Through evidence collected at the crime scene, reviewing statements from witnesses, investigators were able to link these men to the murder of Gonzalez.
All three men received a $750,000 bond for their first degree murder charges.The victim, Gonzalez leaves behind four children, 3 girls and one boy who were not living with her at the time. Harlingen police continue this investigation.
